Bear Lake

From Grandma and Grandpa's cabin, it is a beautiful 90-minute or so drive to Bear Lake.
I love this seemingly abandoned house along the way.
It was July 2, Saturday, so it was bound to be a packed weekend at the lake.  We got there early to claim a spot and commenced our relaxation and recreation.  Scott and Freestone drove up from Kaysville and met us, since Freestone had a party the night before that he didn't want to miss.
Cousins are the best thing.
And so are sisters!

This raft is what we gave Marlene for Mothers Day, and the whole family loved hanging out in the shallow, warm water on the giant raft.

Jennie and Ryan brought their paddleboards and kayaks.
He's pretty enthused!

Do you think Grandpa is a patriot? :)

Looks like we were all happy, happy, happy at Bear Lake, and we were.  We capped off a day of fun with raspberry shakes and drove back tot he cabin, sunkissed and edified by family and friendship.
