Boise

The Twin Falls LDS Temple:  a little stop we made in between the hot dog going in and the hot dog coming out.  Like I said, the minute we pulled into Zeljko and Jenn's driveway, Ptolemy's Costco hot dog went with its own plan.  Well, whatcha gonna do?  We haven't seen the Mijatovic kids since before they moved to Alabama, so there was no way we could pass up this opportunity to infect them with whatever Ptolemy had!  Fortunately, he seemed to be completely healed approximately two seconds after he threw up.  Jenn and I hosed off the entire bag of beach towels I had used to clean up and threw them in the wash.  SO not a big deal after 7 kids.
Jenn had pizza ready for us, which Ptolemy gleefully ate.  Then we enjoyed dirt bike demonstrations by Anders and Scott.

Have you ever seen a guy who looks less likely to ride a dirt bike?

Little Jake, eating a cookie after Zach pilfered most of the dough.  I would have done the same thing, Zach!

We went to WalMart and Freestone said, "Wow!  Is that CHOCOLATE WATER!?"  No.  It's called apple juice.  We'll have to learn about fruits another time.  After Halloween.  When we returned from the store, Anders had returned from scouts.  He was only gone a few minutes before he came back, ran to the kitchen sink and threw up.  I felt so sorry for the kid, but SO glad he got sick an hour after Ptolemy arrived, and not the next day!  He couldn't possibly have caught a hot-dog-related illness that quickly, right!?  Talk about synchronicity!
Zeljko's home teacher stopped by, and it was one of Scott's old law school buddies, Paul Winward.  What a coincidence!  We had a great evening talking with Zeljko and Jenn.  I thought a lot about that first time we met Zeljko's family in Greece.  It's amazing that Vladimir approached us when Scott got stung by a sea anemone.  That "chance" encounter literally changed lives, and led to us knowing Jenn, whom we love, and their four sweet boys, whom we love, and Zeljko, whom we're getting used to.  Ha ha, Zeljko, just kidding! ;)
The next morning, we quietly left at 4 am.  This picture was about 4 hours into the 7-hour drive to Seattle.  Yes, a lot of driving for a four-day trip.  But soooooo worth it!  Even the drive to Seattle was great.  And so much better when you get hours of it out of the way before dawn!
