First ride of the day! See what I mean? Nikki was one of the little girls! :D
OK, maybe Jersey isn't feeling the magic here. She was scared of Ladybug Bop.
Bruce and Marlene went around and watched all the groups of kids riding their rides.
Tziporah is not afraid of anything!
Next Lagoon Day, Ruby will be far away.
Mr. Enthusiasm
And here's where Ptolemy gets it from!
It was actually warm enough for Rattlesnake Rapids.
The Gus cousins (Annalee and Steve) were there too, which is always fun. We also had Clint's mom Jean and his sister Jenny and her adorable girls. And a remnant from the Dopp cousin tree, Brad and Kristi. The more the merrier!
Frank loved Lagoon. He hung out with the older cousins, then took of by himself to catch all the big rides in a hurry via the single rider line. The only one we were missing, besides Golda and Lexie, was Freestone. He had rehearsals all day for the Ballet West spring show. Rather than have me come get him after, at 3, he stayed and roamed the city with his ballet friends so I wouldn't have to miss any of Lagoon Day, and also because it was fun. Another successful Lagoon Day in the books. It's neat to mark the passing of time with these traditions, while at the same time, being comforted that some things never change.
