Vilina's Goodbye Party

Although we didn't have a birthday party for Golda's 21st, there WAS a party that day. Vilina's goodbye party at Andy and Sariah's house. They were kind enough to invite us and the Keheermans to swim. Sariah provided snacks and a cute bouquet of balloons. Scott and Golda came and visited for a bit before Scott took Golda to her job.

Andy Hogan is the link between us and Vilina's family. He was looking on Facebook for people who would be willing to host a recital of Kerman, eho is a pretty well-known musician in China. I organized a recital for him, and that's why Andy contacted us about hosting Vilina.

The party was relaxing, the hosts were great, Vilina almost drowned when Dilfuz, the four year old, hung on her back and they got into the deep end. Andy and I both jumped in to save the tangle of girls. It was scary!

And this was the night before we left for California to send Vilina home. I'm thankful it didn't end in disaster.
