Merry and Bright!

It's opening night of Nutcracker, the night the girls have been anticipating since closing night last year.  This night is the culmination of hours of preparation, planning, fretting, worrying, and anticipation, and it has all turned out just right.  Blessedly, all three girls get to be in the production, so all is right with their world.  And what a world it is, filled with so much "merry and bright."  Now all there is to do is don our gay apparel, smile like we know how lucky we are, and light up the stage!  In the hearts of a red soldier, a blue soldier, a Chinese dance teacher and an ornament, there is a swell of gratitude and excitement for this most wonderful of all holiday celebrations, The Nutcracker.

Thanks for taking the girls to the dress rehearsal. Lexie is exhausted but having a ball. We can't wait to see everyone shine! See you soon!

I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait!!! Fall means nutcracker with my sisters and all their girls and an afternoon out to lunch and shopping! I am even more excited knowing 4 of my favorite dancers are in it! Congratulations girls! We will cheer loud for you! (But only appropriate cheers as we would never want to be called out by you know who!)
