Who Wants This Book?

Here, Paige! This might help you...I thought it would be fun to give away my copy of Breaking Dawn. I got it at Borders in Logan the day it came out, along with every other person in line at the check-out. I read it, loved it, passed it along to my sis-in-law, got it back, and now it's just sitting there. I never keep books because I want them to have a life beyond collecting dust in my house.

To enter the giveaway, you have to come up with a name. I'm writing a story, just for fun, just to entertain Scott and my family, and the main character needs a name. He's tall, has long limbs, is very sensitive, but a little abrasive, and loves nature.

Leave me a comment with your idea for the name. I'll tell you who won tomorrow. Or maybe Sunday, and send the book out Monday. Then I'll put the first page of the story on my blog so you can give me your constructive criticism. Thanks, friends!

How about Snape? Jusk kidding. I loved the actor now personified as Snape forever in Harry Potter. Before he was Snape he acted opposite Kate Winlow as Colonel Brandon in "Sense and Sensibility." Maybe the play makes the man! I would love to read your first page:)

It makes me think about a guy in Vermont. Camel. I know it's a a little too straightforward with the lanky thing, but he was pretty awkward. Or maybe, Malcolm. Or Eddie....or Millen. That's my cousins fiance. Then there was Enimar and Dov. These guys are still friends...so make your character cool if you use their names. (hee) I can't wait to read the first page! I know it will be great. Are 6 suggestions too many?

I got it yesterday from a generous blog reader! I'm halfway done and thinking there's too much vampire stuff at this point. and I'm mad she didn't choose Jacob. I have issues.

How about Fischer for a name?

AAaaaaah! We just back from being out of town! I hope I am not too late! I am number 21 at the library! Of course if I were to win I would have to post the rules you wrote for the last one for my kids. Brittany says she thinks Peat would be a good name for the guy you discribed. I am thinking Camreron. HOpe I win!

Circ-
that is crazy about Abram! I love the idea of your story though.... you have always been a great writer.
I vote for Liam, you can humanize it but is earthy at the same time. Although I already have "the book" so maybe that counts me out...... good luck anyway!

I'm here just in time. He needs an unusual name that can start trends (like every other hot story these days).....drumroll please....Jackel. I know sounds a little dark, but long limbs, sensitive, yada yada. It seriously just came to me when I heard your adjectives. Maybe I should be a writer of young adult love stories....Plus, I didn't buy this book, just borrowed it so I need my own copy so I can read it on my sad, cloudy days.
