Day One, Paris Trip

Tziporah was willing to see the city, but as you can tell in the next picture, she was still a little jetlagged!

 "I'm delirious."
 Parisian baby model, right?

Freestone was trying to look unimpressed, but we were standing in the courtyard of the Louvre!  The sheer size of it is dizzying.  I think he was faking the ennui.  We asked him what he thought of the pyramid and he said, "Uh, it doesn't really go."  Yeah, that's what everyone else thought when it was built, but I think it's the perfect counterpoint to the ornate architecture.  Freestone said it wasn't a real pyramid.  Maybe next time we'll go to Egypt.
Hanging out with our kids at the Tuileries.  Sublime, surreal.  We were on our way to Sarah's friend's apartment to borrow her crib.  What a lifesaver!  What would we do without those Mormon connections?  :) It was fun to see Renee and peek inside their fabulous apartment, especially since it was an oasis of American Halloween decorations in the middle of Paris.  The Halls were getting ready to host a ward Halloween party and two birthday parties.  Five kids in a big city!  No wonder they have a nanny.  It gets me thinking...maybe Golda and Ruby could nanny somewhere fabulous someday...

Look at this guy!  He's perfect, n'est pas?  I think so.
 And this one too!
Ooh, getting drowsy.  Tziporah looks like we all felt after our first day...and right before we got our second wind and went out on the town to get more gelato, more crepes, more gyros in the Latin Quarter.  It's impossible to be sleepy in a big city at night with all the excitement in the air!  Eventually, we all had to give in, just like Tizzy.

I'm sure you could finance Tizzy's college education if you would just get her back over there for her Parisan baby model career! I love seeing pictures before I have even heard about the trip, I was dying from the suspense! It looks wonderful!
