Copy That

The kids love to visit Daddy at his office.  It's fun because, even if Dad isn't there, Bill usually is, and Bill lets them have even more candy from the candy bowl than Dad!  Sometimes it's hard to keep the kids in the playroom at the violin shop because Dad and Bill are upstairs with all that candy, just waiting for a grubby little child to come and hold out a sticky hand and ask for some.  Other attractions at the law firm include the copy machine, highlighters, sticky notes, the globe in Bill's office and the nice, clean glass doors that just beg to be marred by miniature fingerprints.  The shop playroom, all it has are toys.  Booooriiiiing!

I love having Scott (and my dad) so close.  They always make time for us when we stop in, and they're always five minutes away if someone needs an emergency ride or a last-minute stop at the store.  I am proud of my dad for the way he loves and reveres his noble profession, and his extensive knowledge of the law.  And I am proud of Scott for his skill, work ethic and style.  Everyone he works with loves him, and with good reason.  He is good at his job and he does it efficiently and with compassion for all his clients.

His best client is Ptolemy, though.  He loves Dad more than any of the other clients.

Brings back memories. I remember when all of you were little and you would come into the office then in Clearfield and Big Bill and Bill would drop everything to make time for you little ones, the copying machine gig goes way back! Or seeing what was in the fridge you could have. Remember the golf stick and golf ball in Big Bill's office? The tradition lives on of copying faces and hands and visiting the office, so glad. xo Tricia
