Ruby and this girl in plaid were on the committee for a youth fireside. They pulled off a coup and got the Mormon minor celebrity, Al Fox Carraway, to be the speaker. Ruby was in charge of the musical number, and her people backed out last minute. Teenagers. Fortunately, we have willing talent in our ward, and one of our opera singers stepped up and did beautifully. Al Fox was a dynamic and captivating speaker. Her message is one of inclusion and faith. I'm so glad I got these pictures of Ruby with her afterward. Ha ha ha. Move over, Plaidie! Ruby also put together a cute little gift bag for the speaker. She has learned well from my gifty friends, and it was darling. I'm proud of her for putting so much time into this project and making it really, really good.
