I loved when I heard the finger number prompt. Younger moms at group lessons are amazed when I can whisper sing a number note while the kids play. What they don't realize is that by child #4...all of book 1 is solidly memorized. I can even 'hear' the wrong bowings during practice if I am in another room. Just another sign of doing this for a long time!
