At the Seashore

Back in April when we went to the beach for spring break, Ari and I and the rest of the family started gathering seashells for a summer art camp.  We found a couple of little shells with a hole in them, perfect for making a necklace, so we began looking for more.  For some weird reason, a lot of seashells have a perfect, round hole in them.  A lot!  We gathered big buckets of shells, planning ahead for our summer art class.

Then we didn't think about it again until the day before.  The camp was intended as a thank you for all the people who have supported Golda and Ruby's camps in the past, so some people already knew about it.  The ones who didn't know, or who had forgotten, found out the night prior on Facebook or by text.  I'm classy that way.

Nevertheless, we had a blast with our various ocean-themed projects this morning.  I love kids making creative messes.  Love to see those pudgy little hands sinking into that gooshy, blue paint.  There is more fun planned for tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday, so if you haven't come yet, do!

10:00 to 10:45, our house.
Yes, you are invited.  Everyone is invited!
Bring 2 or 3 bucks for supplies.

Hope to see you...at the seashore! :)
