Fathers Day/Freestone Day

Some snapshots of Fathers Day.  We had the Kings over for an early brunch, then church, then Scott's cousin's son's missionary farewell to see family.  It was also Freestone's birthday, so Scott and Free ran away instead of going to the farewell at Jodi's.  They had a nice lunch at Oakridge. Freestone had just wrapped up recital week and loved every minute of it.  The birthday, and indeed the rest of his life, seemed like a letdown after a week of being admired by 30 ballerinas.  Dinner with Dad cheered him up.

Bruce and Marlene stopped by in the afternoon, and so did Coco and Bill, lucky for us!

Scott is such a good dad.  He's totally devoted, and everyone knows it.  I got lucky.
Same with Josh.  His kids adore him.  Everyone adores Josh, but especially his kids.
My dad...the best.  I just love him and everything about him.
Trajan cooking bacon, the most essential ingredient to a good brunch.  I can't wait to see Trajan and Micaela as parents.  They're going to fall in love with some little human sometime in the future, and it will be incredible to watch.

Emily brough the second-most essential ingredient: Diet Coke.
