Willy Wonka

I

I'm proud of Xanthe for taking on Willy Wonka.  She practiced for hours upon hours for the audition, and went to all the rehearsals, late into the night, without complaint.  Jana recognized her strengths and weaknesses, and consciously strove to develop Xanthe's strengths and develop her weaknesses by giving her little leadership assignments and small roles.  It was a great experience.  We all loved it.

Grandma and Grandpa brought lots of fans!
Thank you, Jana!

Ellison as a Grandpa.  She was great!

Henry and Josh were awesome too.  It was fun to have the Scheullers and so many other friends, too.  These productions get long, and there is always a point of "never again."  Then there's the production and sitting in the audience with life long friends, and helping kids you've known since birth backstage.  And you say, "What't the play next year?"
