Finally, I.B.

Spring Break could not come fast enough this year.  We left home at 2:26 am and had a quick, uneventful drive, arriving in IB by 1ish.  We called Rose and ordered our first Seacoast pizza before we even rolled into town.  First stop, the pool for lunch!
So relieved to be here, having survived winter.

Taking pictures of the sunset.  7 pm is the highlight of the day.  As the sun sinks into the ocean, we sink into the end of the day.

The Easter bunny visited us a week early, bringing treats for the whole week.
We even managed to snap a picture of him!

Good book, perfect place to read it!

Golda's last beach trip before college!

ladybugs!

Collin and Freestone. I told them to strike a more interesting post, and this is what they did.
Another gorgeous sunset, then off to dinner with Ryan and Jennie.

Tizzy with pollen on her nose.  I love the spring flowers at the beach.  It's so great feeling spring on your skin, knowing winter is over.
We were so lucky that Nikki was planning a trip to Disneyland the dame week!  We convinced her to come down and experience IB, and she in turn convinced Grandma, even if they did have to leave Grandpa behind at the cabin, working on the projects that keep him up at night with excitement.

We LOVED having extra cousins to play with.  Nikki is super fun, and Scott loved showing his mom around all the places we've been talking aobut for years.  Next time, stay longer, you guys!
Jersey and Tziporah are a perfect match!
 Pizza at Ryan and Jennie's
It was so neat to have Marlene there!

Ptolemy has a thing for mermaids.  He found this coaster and made a note for it that said, "I love you."  So funny!
Golda put this on my phone as the screen saver.  Thanks!
Imagine Ptolemy's joy when he found his mermaid on a big sign!

I love how Tziporah isn't at all willing to pretend she's scared of the shark.

I love your IB posts. One day I will be walking the pier, eating seaside pizza and freaking out over the shark. Until that time I will be be living vicariously thru you guys.
