Tziporah Delilah

After Scott and I got the kids off to school Friday and Ptolemy off to Coco's house, we went to the hospital.  It was baby day!  You know I had it all planned out perfectly, but Tizzy surprised us by being breech!  She has never been breech before, wasn't breech Tuesday when I went to the doctor.  This little flip came out of left field and delayed my best-laid plans by hours.  The doctor couldn't come to flip her until lunchtime, and when she did come, she wasn't successful and man, it hurt!  More waiting...an epidural, muscle relaxing drugs, and Julia came back again and easily flipped the baby back to where she's been the whole time, the little stinker!

More waiting, waiting, waiting and then suddenly, we had a baby!  She decided to go from zero to sixty fast when she found out Karen had three other babies to deliver that night.  We wanted to be first!  Little Tziporah weighed 5 pounds, 11 oz.  She's just tiny!  We knew she had stopped growing in utero for some reason, but she looks perfect and is just precious.  Here she is with Daddy, who will probably be her favorite person, just like he's all the kids' fave!

LOVE this post! Love the picture of you and Tziporah. Love that picture of the two of you. Love that Ruby and Golda got to see her. Love that your dad dresses up to meet grandchildren. That video of Scott made me cry. Love that it mysteriously ended when the girls tried to convince her her name was not Tziporah! Somehow this most likely last baby of our group seems even more magical that the first ones. So glad she is here!

Oh, she is so tiny! I'm so glad she is here. I thought about you yesterday, anxious to hear that Tziporah had arrived safe and sound.

She is a beauty. It warms my heart to think of another little spirit being raised in the Dopp home. Lucky baby, lucky you. Congrats to all the Dopps. You did it!

Congratulations! She is darling. So, so little. I would be afraid to hold her. She weighs in at half of what my last one did.

Good luck! I hope everything continues to go well.
