I Need Ideas!

Since Star refused to take a bath, Freestone used the suds himself.  Our entire front yard is extremely clean.  And soapy.

Meanwhile, I have a request.  I have been called as a Beehive advisor, which I'm really excited about!  As gung-ho as I am, however, I'm also pretty lazy.  So my plan is to beg, threaten and cajole all of my blogland friends to comment and give me all of your best ideas for Young Women activities.  (Laurel, I have already stolen some of yours, but keep 'em coming!)  Then, I'll just plug all of your ideas into the YW calendar.  See how easy that was?  OK, go.  Give me all of your ideas.  The Young Women will thank you later!!

we have been out of town...again. Looks like more good things have taken place at your house!

Ideas: We had a Are you in a jam? night. Taught them how to make freezer jam and then did a thing on making decisions before they get in a situation. Also read the scripture in D & C that talks about knowing a good choice from a bad...with a burning or a stuper of thought. It was fun.

Sounds like a good topic for women's shelter!

I am so excited for you. I am loving younge womens. Some things we have done are make movies about book of mormon stories, then watch them the next activity. That was nice because it took two activities, made pie crusts, talent night, campfire with testimony meeting, water kickball, babysitting prepardness night, mother daughter night with some of the Mom's teaching basic skills (like sewing and cooking).

First of all I LOOOOVE your new header photo. It's a cute picture of everyone.

I have done the YW thing several times, and should be crazy with ideas... but it's late, and my brain is fried. That said, I'm going to tuck this in the corner of my brain and get back to you.

Beehives are so fun, you will love it and they will love you!

Hi Circe,
I don't have any Laurel ideas, but I saw in your book list that you had read Big Stone Gap. Sorry it wasn't any good. I haven't read it but BSG is only 30 minutes from us and in our stake. It is a beautiful area in the mountains and I work with probably 15 people from there. They are great! So next time you look at the book, you can think of us :).
See you!
